Beginners

I watched Beginners last night.  It was REALLY good.  A couple of months ago I watched Ewan McGregor's Long Way shows.  I had always liked Ewan, but I have a new stronger affection for him.  He was very good in this, and had fantastic chemistry with Melanie. I listened to the commentary by Mike Mills too, which was pretty well done.  A few weeks ago I listened to the commentary for The Green Mile that Frank Darabount did, which is now the commentary to which all commentaries are held.  Mike's was better than most.  Any rate, the film is thought provoking and fresh.  I didn't realize that Mike Mills and Miranda July were married.  They definitely have similarities in their work. The Future is on my list.
