Carmina Burana

My Christmas present to my 94 year-old grandma was taking her to a coral performance of Carmina Burana on New Year's Eve.  It was an amazing stripped down performance.  I had seen it years ago done as a ballet, and felt that the dancing had got in the way of the music. This was a perfectly intimate setting in a small theater, which allowed for complete submersion.  Needless to say, we had a great time.
