This is an amazing bedroom (I want to see the whole thing!), in an even more amazing house.  Some friends of mine rented a place in Italy for their vacation.  This place is in Umbria.  I've decided that I want to spend a couple months just wandering around Italy.  Can you imagine?  To die!!

It was the fireplace that got me going, thinking how cool this place would be on a stormy night.  The waves crashing on the shore, rain pelting the windows, and me curled up on the chair with Jane Eyre and hot coco.  =)

beautifully organized

Oh my goodness, there is so much I love about this.  The drawers are definitely the focal point for me, but I also love the little tree in the background.  I want a tree in my house, but I kill all my plants.  So sad!   I also have a thing for white wood floors.  So do a lot of other people because I see tons of pictures of them!

Tub & Fire

I love my condo, I really do.  With that said there are two things I really wish I had.  One is a proper tub, and the other is a working fireplace.  I have this stupid faux fireplace that is huge, and is basically plastic logs with a red bulb behind them.  Yeah, not working for me.  I love this tub AND the fireplace.  I want a soaking tub with jets, and I might be able to make that happen in the future.  The fireplace though, that's not going to happen.  In the meantime, I'll drool over pictures like this.

not quite, but almost

At a glance I totally love this room.  It is very appealing to the eye.  The bones of the room are what I love, the bookcase and the windows in particular.  It is beautifully light and bright.  However, if I was going to actually LIVE in this room, I'd definitely change some things.  Mainly the tables and the chair.  It is not just the tables themselves, which I don't care for, but it is also their arrangement.  I'd have gone with two, and at least one would be white.  I also would have picked a comfier chair.  It is the books that grab me as much as the bed, and I would want a nice place to sit in read.  I do love the built-ins.  This really makes me want to see the rest of the house.

There's so much to love about this.  First thing that caught my eye was the chandy, which is so unique.  I love it!!  Then the painting, which is just beautiful. Love the framing on it too.  Last but not least, the way cool bench, with books on it no less.  I'm not one for dark hardwoods, but these look gorgeous with the white walls and rug.

One of my dreams is to have a home library.  I have a sad little corner of my condo that is mini library, but I want the full meal deal.  I saw this one, and thought it was really cute.  I like the high beams, and the loft.  I would love to step into this room.  I spy a French door. Love!! The sofa and chair could be more comfy though.

One of my all time favourite books.  It was really expensive, and I had wanted it for a long time.  I got a part time job at Barnes & Noble, and bought it with my discount.  So worth it.
