An Invisible Sign

Just before Christmas I watched An Invisible Sign.  It has been a very long time since I've seen a film that was so completely enjoyable and satisfying for me. I love this film at the five star level, and have watched it multiple times already. I have been a fan of Jessica Alba's, but confess that she isn't the best actor.  With that said she did amazing work in this film.  She should be very proud.  I also think Chris Messina is adorable, and was a perfect counterpart to Jessica.  They were both so quirky, and it was such a cute story. Loved it!!

PS: I frequent the AV Club, and one of their writers took aim at An Invisible Sign.  He said it was an obsurd story.  Well, fooey on him. :oP I loved it. 

I also wanted to add that my favorite of Chris Messina's films is Ira & Abby, which he did with Jennifer Westfeldt.  Jennifer wrote it, such a cute movie.  Mr. AV Club writer would probably think it was stupid too.
