Following your bliss is not self-indulgent, but vital; your whole physical system knows that this is the way to be alive in this world and the way to give to the world the very best that you have to offer. There IS a track just waiting for each of us and once on it, doors will open that were not open before and would not open for anyone else. - Joseph Campell

Poirot: Death on the Nile

I finally watched Death on the Nile. I dare say it was a close to perfect adaptation.  It was perfectly cast.  All the characters came to life.  The best part though was the setting.  They went to Egypt to film.  Everything was pretty much how I pictured it in my mind.  Emily Blunt was fantastic as Linnet.  She played her a bit more spoiled than I thought she was in the book.

It really is impressive that David Suchet is now in his fourth decade of playing Poirot.  Benedict Cumberbatch has said that he wants to age with Sherlock.  I hope he gets to play him as long as Suchet has played Poirot.
