Following your bliss is not self-indulgent, but vital; your whole physical system knows that this is the way to be alive in this world and the way to give to the world the very best that you have to offer. There IS a track just waiting for each of us and once on it, doors will open that were not open before and would not open for anyone else. - Joseph Campell

Frederick Marriott

I had pinned the below piece a while ago.  I really love it.  I was expecting this to be done by a current artist, but it was in fact done by English painter Frederick Marriott in 1935.  I love the line work.  I have the feeling that this would look different in person.  I would love to see it.

Then I found this piece, which I also love.  It reminds me a lot of Arthur Rackham, and looks to me like it could be an illustration in a book.  Again, love the lines.  I think the trees are my favourite part.

This one absolutely looks like it is straight out of a Grimm's Fairy Tale.  Love it!
