I had pinned the below piece a while ago. I really love it. I was expecting this to be done by a current artist, but it was in fact done by English painter Frederick Marriott in 1935. I love the line work. I have the feeling that this would look different in person. I would love to see it.

Then I found this piece, which I also love. It reminds me a lot of Arthur Rackham, and looks to me like it could be an illustration in a book. Again, love the lines. I think the trees are my favourite part.
