band of skulls


Last Monday I went to see Band of Skulls at the Neptune.  I had previously posted about them without a lot of fanfare, but truth is I LOVE these guys.  I have both their albums, and I love every track.  The have not done a bad song, IMO.  I was so excited to see them.  Unfortunately the night didn't go too hot.  They had to delay the show until 9:00, and they had two opening acts. They didn't take the stage until after 11:00.  I was so upset that I had to leave at midnight.  It was just that I live about a half an hour away, and I had to get up in the morning.  I was so bummed.  =(

The bright side was they did a string of my favourites from the gate, Sweet Sour, Patterns, Lies and Bruises. I also got to hear my favourite song Cold Fame.

I will definitely see them again if they come back.  =)
