Following your bliss is not self-indulgent, but vital; your whole physical system knows that this is the way to be alive in this world and the way to give to the world the very best that you have to offer. There IS a track just waiting for each of us and once on it, doors will open that were not open before and would not open for anyone else. - Joseph Campell

art history moment

I'm starting a couple of new things this week.  One is going to be an Art History Moment where I will spotlight one of my favorite paintings of old.

The inaugural painting I affectionately refer to as "Just Feet".  I was telling my coding class about it, and how I have this inappropriate desire to put this painting in the bathroom.  I think people should be able to meditate on Christ's feet while on the pot.  Okay, it is probably blasphemous, forgive me.  This painting just kills me though.  Capturing Jesus' post Crucifixion ascent into heaven, and all you get are his feet.  Cracks me up!!  I think I am probably the only one who finds this humorous.
