Following your bliss is not self-indulgent, but vital; your whole physical system knows that this is the way to be alive in this world and the way to give to the world the very best that you have to offer. There IS a track just waiting for each of us and once on it, doors will open that were not open before and would not open for anyone else. - Joseph Campell

nashville indie spotlight

Last week I bought a compilation album from iTunes called Nashville Indie Spotlight which showcases 22 artists (for $7.99, not bad) working their magic from Nashville.  I picked it up because it had a few artists I really like Brooke Waggoner (love!!), Katie Herzig, Amy Stroup, Trent Dabbs and Matthew Perryman Jones.  What I found though were a handful of great acts I hadn't heard before, namely The Saint John's (see last weeks post), who I impulsively had to go and get more of.

I thought I would share the whole album cause I highly recommend it, especially for the price.  Again, 22 songs for $7.99.  You can't not get it.

Here are the new acts I found that I really like.

The Saint John's
Leagues
Shannon LaBrie
Kate Tucker
Escondido
KS Rhoads

Love this one.

Escondido - Black Roses
